The Mahindra Group approached us to design a steel edition coffee table book, an archival volume that documents the company’s history and evolution. The book traces Mahindra’s journey from its founding by the Mahindra brothers and Mohamed to its growth into a global conglomerate by the 2020s. It captures important milestones, leadership moments, and industrial achievements across decades. The design focused on a bold yet clear visual language that supported the content without
overpowering it. Stencil cut-outs were used in the opening sections to highlight the long-standing partnership between India and Japan, a key story in the book.

The legacy book was honoured with Book of the Year at the Mahindra Awards and now holds a permanent place in the Mahindra Museum, underscoring its significance as both a historical document and a design achievement.
